In 2011, Ms. Tucker became the CEO & Founder of The 1 Alternative, which utilizes fine arts and other avenues to create space for people to minister and be ministered. In 2014, she was hired by Wisconsin Voices, INC. an organization focused on engaging communities in the processes of policy and politics.

AART is a coalition led by and serving the African-American community in Milwaukee. AART exists to empower and organize our community to transform policies so we can thrive and live at our greatest potential.
